Common fault codes that indicate a faulty CPC3 CPC ECU are:

• B60D03 – AGND_01 short to UB
  Pin 10A17.II-24/17 at control unit 10A17: Generation 3 common powertrain controller (CPC) control unit (CU) has short circuit to positive.
• 0BF0E3 – FG1- short to UB
  The electrical line from pin 10A17. II-24/20 to the component ’10B03: Foot throttle actuator’ has a short circuit to battery voltage.
• ADFFEE PMC: error status for features
  The software monitoring function has detected a fault in the control unit.(10A17: Generation 3 common powertrain controller (CPC) control unit (CU))
• EEF7ED CPC internal – EEPROM data verification
  Fault in parameterization of control unit
• ACFFEE The watchdog function has detected an internal fault.
  Watchdog Reset error
• 2AF3EE AG: Automatic mode not available
  The CAN signal from control module 12A10: Transmission control unit (TCM) is faulty.
